Derot is a screen time control application designed to help users reduce doomscrolling and build healthier digital habits. The App provides:
Important: Some features, including app blocking, require a Premium subscription and appropriate system permissions. Derot is a self-help productivity tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or parental-control guarantees.
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store or Google Play Terms of Service, as applicable.

You are responsible for using Derot honestly and accurately. Habit check-ins, photos, and activity logs should reflect genuine completed actions. Misrepresenting habit completion undermines the purpose of the App and may violate these Terms.
Certain features require device permissions such as Screen Time access, notifications, camera access, or optional health data. You are responsible for granting, reviewing, and revoking these permissions through your device settings.
You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws while using the App, including any regulations related to minors, parental supervision, and digital wellbeing in your jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for the habit data, photos, notes, and other content you create within the App.
The App, including its code, design, graphics, and "Derot" brand, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use them without compensation or obligation.
Derot offers Premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions, which may include monthly, annual, and lifetime plans:
The App may reference or interact with third-party applications, operating system services, or platform APIs for blocking, analytics, or device functionality. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third-party apps or services, their availability, or their terms. App blocking applies only to apps and services you explicitly select within Derot and supported by your device.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Derot is a digital wellbeing aid only. You remain solely responsible for managing your screen time, habits, and device usage.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EXCESSIVE SCREEN TIME, MISSED HABITS, DATA LOSS, OR FAILURE OF APP BLOCKING CONTROLS.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) or $50 USD.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
