By downloading, installing, or using Scotee (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Scotee is a score counter application designed to help users keep track of scores in card games, board games, and other activities. The App provides:

  • Manual score tracking
  • Game history storage
  • Player customization features

3.1 Grant of License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

3.2 Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

User Responsibilities

4.1 Accurate Information

Any information you provide (such as player names) should be accurate and appropriate.

4.2 Compliance with Laws

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws while using the App.

4.3 Content

You are solely responsible for the player names and game data you create within the App.

Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Property

The App, including its code, design, graphics, and "Scotee" brand, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Feedback

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use them without compensation or obligation.

In-App Purchases

If the App offers premium features or removes ads through in-app purchases:

  • All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's Terms
  • Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with notice

Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the App ends
  • You must cease all use of the App
  • Local data on your device remains unless you delete it

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will function uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App is free of viruses or harmful components

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) or $50 USD.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
